The terms that apply when employers engage CC Jobs to advertise vacancies, request shortlists or use our recruitment, search and workforce services.
These Employer Terms apply when your organisation uses CC Jobs, part of Career Calling International and CAQA Groups, to advertise a vacancy, request a shortlist or engage our recruitment, search or workforce services. By submitting a vacancy or engaging our services you agree to use this website lawfully, to deal with candidates fairly and respectfully, and to observe these terms. The specific scope, fees, timelines and any replacement guarantee for an engagement are confirmed in a written proposal or service agreement before a search begins, and that agreement prevails over these terms to the extent of any inconsistency.
CC Jobs works with registered training organisations, TAFEs, dual-sector and higher education providers, industry associations and professional-services employers recruiting trainers and assessors, compliance and quality staff, student support and administration staff, and education leaders and executives across Australia.
Our services include permanent recruitment, casual and contract talent pools, a compliance talent desk, executive search, qualification and currency verification, workforce planning, and contractor care and payroll support. Each engagement is defined by the written scope you agree with us, including deliverables, assumptions and your responsibilities.
You must ensure that every vacancy you submit is genuine and current, that you have authority to recruit for it, and that the information you provide is accurate, lawful and not misleading. This includes the position description, remuneration range, location, employment type, and any licensing, qualification or registration requirements that apply to the role. Vacancies are submitted through our contact page, by email or by phone, and are handled under our Job Listing Terms.
We screen candidates in line with the scope agreed for your engagement, which may include interviews, qualification and currency verification and referee checks. Screening reduces risk but does not guarantee a candidate's performance, conduct or suitability. The final hiring decision always remains yours, and you remain responsible for your own pre-employment checks, such as police checks, working-with-children checks, medical assessments and right-to-work verification, unless we agree in writing to arrange specific checks for you.
No payments are taken through this website. Placement fees, retainers, advertising costs and any other charges are quoted and agreed in writing before work begins, and are invoiced under the payment terms in your service agreement. Engaging a candidate introduced by CC Jobs, in any capacity and within the introduction period stated in your agreement, attracts the agreed fee. Because fees are dealt with under those written agreements rather than online transactions, any refund or credit arrangements are as set out in your agreement.
Where a replacement guarantee is offered, it is stated in your written agreement together with its conditions, which typically require that fees have been paid on time, that the role and its requirements have not materially changed, and that you notify us within the stated period after the placement ends. If those conditions are met, we will conduct a replacement search as described in the agreement.
You must comply with Commonwealth, state and territory anti-discrimination and equal opportunity laws and the Fair Work Act in your recruitment and employment decisions. Selection criteria must be based on the genuine requirements of the role. We may decline, or ask you to amend, any brief or listing that includes unlawful or discriminatory criteria.
Candidate resumes, profiles and referee information are provided to you in confidence for the role concerned. You must not forward candidate information to third parties, use it for any other purpose, or retain it beyond your legal requirements if the candidate is not engaged. Candidate information is handled by us under our Candidate Privacy Notice and Privacy Policy.
Information on this website is general in nature. To the extent permitted by law, CC Jobs is not liable for decisions you make in reliance on website content alone, and our liability for services is as set out in your written agreement. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
